Kingston Pride Parade – June 13

Ahmad SpierijNews

Many communities of faith and or spiritual practice are gathering to consider how we may work collaboratively to have a unified and substantive presence again at this year’s Kingston Pride Parade. Last year nine communities of spiritual practice, tallying to 90+ persons, joined together to provide a substantive affirming presence to the community for our 2SLGBTQIA+ siblings by joining together in the Kingston Pride Parade. We are hopeful for a larger presence this year. Last year the Society of Friends, the Unitarian Fellowship and many of the Kingston United, Anglican, Lutheran, Presbyterian churches participated. If you could not attend the May 5 meeting but want to be involved in future planning, please contact Brett Ballenger, the pastor at St Mark’s Lutheran who is convening this group, .
