Tri-Church Summer Services at Sydenham United Church Rev. Catherine Elsdon.  Summertime Disciples: Two-Part Sermon Series Say no goodbyes. Carry no purse. Dust off your feet. In chapters 9 and 10 of Luke’s gospel, Jesus gives specific instructions to his earliest followers about what it looks like to be his disciple. As the church season slows down for summer, we reflect on those teachings and reconnect with the weird and wonderful call to follow Christ. *Join us for a “Strawberry Social” with cake and fresh strawberries, following the service
