From the Chalmers Commission: The Structures Working Circle (SWC) has now had two fruitful round-the-circle conversations. The object of the time limited conversations is to recommend a model of congregational administration/decision-making reflective of Chalmers present needs and capacity. The model will feature the principles of Restorative Practice which all our Circles have been using. At the last meeting, the group reviewed the additional underlying principles we wish in our decision making and some of the governance requirements of the United Church of Canada Manual.
